If you're driving through childers I recommend stopping here for food and coffee.
We had breakfast here and it FABULOUS....fresh juices ....fresh ingredients...top spot ..
Can't complain about the service, as the cafe was shut. I was standing on the footpath outside, when i heard a voice say "8.30". I looked in the direction of the voice to see a woman staring at me. She repeated "8.30". I checked the time (7.50am), and asked if anywhere else in town was opened. Her response was a very abrupt "just the bakery". Now i know she was busy setting up and being a Sunday morning, i would expect that the cafe would get busy as soon as she opens, but, it does not take any effort to be nice to everyone, customer or not. Based on her attidude, i would not return to this cafe to try their menu when they were opened.
The staff were friendly the coffee great. This is our second visit on our travels and it has not disappointed us this time either. Lovely sitting on the verandah watching the traffic go by.
Love this little cafe, it's our favorite place to stop either on our way north or on our way south. Very friendly staff and great food at a reasonable price. We will be back.
